HR & people

HR is an optional add-on you switch on only if you want it — kept completely separate from the booking side of the app.

What it covers

Staff records, leave, sickness & TOIL (time off in lieu), and DBS tracking.

How it’s billed

• £3.50 per person, per month — a seat is a person, flat across every tier, no banded pricing, no cliffs.
• Your own record is always free — the owner never pays for themselves.
• Checkout happens right inside the app: you see the exact price before you confirm, it charges the card already saved on your account, and the new person shows up immediately.

Team roles

Add people under People / Team. Each person holds a rank — Owner (everything, including billing), Admin, Manager, Employee — and each rank carries permissions that unlock actions:

• manage_courses — create and edit offerings.
• manage_org_settings — business settings, including reminder timing.
• manage_clients — the Clients book and Documents.
• manage_billing — plan, HR seats, and Lily top-ups.

Only an Owner can make someone else an Owner. Each rank also has an Assistant Use toggle deciding whether that person sees Lily. New people get an email to set their own password.

Notifications

Under Settings → Notifications you choose who hears when someone reports sick, who receives payroll/overtime ledgers, and who gets low-attendance warnings. Leave a field blank and it falls back to the owner.
